Otham Parish Church

The Teston Club is situated in the idyllic village of Teston in the heart of the Kent countryside and just five miles from Maidstone, the county town of Kent.

Since the Club first opened its doors on January 1st 1894 it has been a focal point for the community in and around Teston. With its selection of fine beers and wines, members lounge and games bar including a full-size antique snooker table the Club provides the perfect environment for an evening out and provides a fun and friendly atmosphere for all the family.

We have social events at least once a month as well as club competitions, twice a year, in snooker and darts. Why not come along and visit the Club for yourself? New Members are always welcome and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Change to Opening Hours

Having reviewed the earlier opening on Friday the Club will now open at 4pm on a Friday. The Club will now remain open on a Sunday to 7pm.

Club Refurbishment.

The latest refurbishment of the Club is complete. With a new bar, refurbished toilets, new hung roof and a complete redecoration we hope that you will appreciate the Club even more.

Club Opening Hours - The Wednesday afternoon club starts at 2pm. The club is now running every week. Please see inside the club for details.

The Club has now installed two 60" TVs. One in both bars. We have also retained the old 37" in the Lounge Bar. Both 60" TVs now have Sky Sports HD running so even less excuse for not coming down to the club and watching all the top sport in HD. We will continue to show all major sporting events available on both terrestrial, Sky Sports and the new BT Sports channels.

Broadband. The Club provides free wireless broadband connectivity. Need to do some work but fancy a pint as well? Come down and try it out.

Premium Cask Ale: We now have two premium ales available. Our guest ales change two or three times a week. We are also now stocking a number of guest bottle beers. Why not come in and have a pint?

Club Forum: The forum allows you to post Club related pictures, discuss and arrange things with other members and even have a poll on the best bitter in the world! There is also an electronic version of the Club's Suggestion Box. The forum can be found by clicking on this link. You will need to register to use the forum. Please use you real name and allow a couple of days before you are accepted.

Membership is open to any Club Member. Membership costs £5 per annum. At least 4 society days are held each year with both singles and doubles competition. Usually the society day ends with drinks and sandwiches in the club. Guests are always welcome on Society Days, please contact the Golf Club Captain or Secretary for further details. More details are posted on the notice board in the club. If you would like to be e- mailed details of our events (and to indicate your interest in participating), please send an e-mail to thesecretary@testonclub.co.uk   and your details will be recorded and we will keep you updated.
